DuraRoof is a patented 100% Acrylic Roof Coating designed to protect asphalt shingles and concrete tile roof surfaces. It has been tested to Category Five hurricane force winds and helps prevents shingle damages. DuraRoof eliminates Granular Loss and Algae Growth with just one application and will increase the life cycle of an asphalt shingle roof 5 to 7 years. As asphalt shingles weather, they break down and absorb UV radiation which causes small fractures and loss of granules that protect the shingles. Untreated, these cracks allow water to penetrate to swell and shrink and over time the shingle would fail requiring replacement. DuraRoof increases a roof life cycle because it it provides a water-resistant barrier over your existing shingles and prevents water from adsorbing which prevents asphaltic oils from leaching out. DuraRoof adsorbs into the surface and helps eliminates damage and prevents wind uplift damage.
